I feel terrible that I’m never on tumblr anymore. I’m never on the internet that much in general nowadays, which is crazy for me because it’s been my life the past several years. I check tumblr frequently, but I never find myself reblogging, or posting anything anymore. I apologize to anyone following me! I’m still alive and well I promise, I’ve just finally found things to occupy my time other than the internet. Which is a blessing and a curse I suppose, because I love tumblr but I spent way too much time on it.
Anyway, the past 5 months my life has done a complete 180. I made several new friends, who I hang out with on a regular basis. They’ve introduced me to new people, and new experiences. I couldn’t be more grateful for them. I graduated high school, and have now entered the summer before I start college. I finally landed the guy I’ve been in love with for 5 years. It all feels like a complete dream. I never in a million years would of imagined all this happening. If you told me this a year ago, I wouldn’t of believed you. I am ultimately the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. It’s incredible.
I no longer sit at home on the weekends by myself. I actually have people to go out with, and things to do. This summer so far, I have never sat a night at home. I’m constantly doing things. Which is why I never find myself on the computer or tumblr. For some amazing reason, about a month ago I started hanging out with the guy I’ve liked for so long. I found out his feelings for me, and he found out mine for him. We’ve been hanging out a lot, and I’m slowly becoming a greater part of his life. His family likes me, his friends like me, and he’s beginning to trust me and enjoy my company more. I couldn’t of been happier when he kissed me two nights ago. I’ve patiently waited a very long time for this to happen. Unfortunately, he’s moving to California in August for college. I’m going to be heartbroken, but I’ve known this for awhile now. I’ll have to move on eventually, but it’ll be hard. I’m just happy that we got a chance to be together. I plan on spending the rest of my summer with him. I hope he plans the same. I’ve dreamed of being with him since I was 12. And a miracle has happened.
As of right now, I am on cloud 9. My year, and summer couldn’t be any greater. I’m praying that it stays this way. I just wanted to make this post as a little update in case anyone was wondering why I’ve abandoned my blog. I promise I’ll be back blogging avidly someday. Probably when I’m in college living by myself. We’ll see. I’m just enjoying my summer, and anxiously waiting for what the future holds.
Thanks everyone :)

History Meme | 2/8 Objects: 1920's Dresses
1920's Dresses were lighter and brighter and shorter than ever before. Fashion designers played with fabric colors, textures and patterns to create totally new styles of dress. Evening dresses, coats and jackets were often trimmed with fur. Hemlines rose for most of the decade but dropped slightly toward the end. Shoes and stockings assumed a greater prominence now that they were more visible. Silk stockings in all the colors of the rainbow, often with patterns, were designed to match the coordinated outfits of stylish women. (x)
